I have quotes from Bankston in Alabama, Kings Camper in Wisconsin and Best Buy in Illinois for a Diesel Pusher. All said that the quote price is bottom line. No other fees or charges period(excluding tax and license).
Has anone had experience with these and is their quote actually bottom line?

It's highly unlikely any dealer would give you their bottom price on the first quote. Try subtracting 10 or 15% off those quotes and counter offering and see what happens. Many RV's will have a dealer cost of about 60% of the MSRP, add on some $$$ for their margin and that's what you ought to be able to buy at.

Good luck.

Like Richard said, shop around for other bottom line prices. Lazy Days has a list of motor homes that are 24% off list without asking. If you have shopped around and know what you want such as brand and model, it is a lot easier to do price comparison. BUT, price is not everything. Service is also important. Even tho you do not have to get service from the dealer you buy from, its nice to know that there is one close by that will do warranty work and etc. How far will you have to travel to get service. Does the company have enought dealers around the country to work on the unit if it breaks down a long way from home. But my advice for price is, if you are not trading, is no less than 25%off the msrp. And yes, other than state taxes and filing fees, the price you are quoted is more than likely the price you pay. The dealer will try to sell you extrended coverage, tire insurance and other items(some even wax jobs). Hold on all these until you get the unit, You will hve plenty of time to decide on what to buy extra. Ask here on irv2 on any item, and someone will help you. Lot of nice folks here s/Toby

As Toby states above, 25% off MSRP should be very doable. Anything less and you should walk to the next dealer (assuming all other things equal).

You might get a few more points off MSRP but that's the best you're probably going to do, unless.....

Have you tried looking for leftover '07 models? In that situation, if the dealer is motivated to move it off their lot, you may be able to get upwards of 30% off MSRP.

Good luck and let us know how you make out.
