For those of you who have replaced your converter with a Progressive Dynamics 9260, I have a few questions. My existing converter is installed in the electrical bay. All I can see of it is one end and the top. It has a pigtail that is plugged into a receptacle in the bay. Does the Progressive Dynamics 9260 come with a pigtail? How involved is the rest of the wiring? Any precautions I should be aware of?

The Progressive Dynamics 9260 does come with the 120 VAC power cord already attached. You will simply unplug the old converter disconnect the 12 volt DC cables from the + & - terminals and install them on the new converter. Secure and plug the converter in and you are done.

Just did this 2 weeks ago. WE had to extend our dc leads about 1' on both. If you need to splice the dc, we used a tube connector. You insert each wire in from each end tighten the screws and cover with shrink tube.
Good luck, have fun

The 9260 arrived today. I will attempt to install it tomorrow if the rain holds off.
