I just finished installing the Progressive Dynamics 9260. Took me about 1/2 hour. I can't see any way to route the Pendant wiring to the inside of the Coach. Can I jumper from the 9260 to the telephone connection in the bay and then plug the pendant into the telephone outlet in the Coach?

Now why didn't I think of that? I've been pondering how to remote my IQ4 from the battery charger and this is a great way to do it.

I'd open up all of the phone outlets first to ensure that the highly-trained installation worker got the color codes right, and that all four wires are run, not just two. Other than that, I can't think of a reason why this shouldn't work. It is possible that the phone wiring may pick up some differential-mode interference that affects the charging, but you should be able to tell if that happens.

I have run into a small problem with my solution. The phone jack is a RJ11 and the jack on the 9260 is a RJ22. I haven't been able to find the correct patch cord for the electrical bay yet.

Maybe these folks can help:

Ken's Electronics

Alternatively you can make your own if you have the flat telephone cable, plugs and a crimper.
