Progressive Industries box in hallway

2001 National Dolphin 6355. There is a black box in the hallway (under the Co alarm, gauge for checking level in gray/waste/fresh/battery, thermostat, fantastic vent control, slide controls) that has what looks like a phone jack with the wire plugged in it.

Does it also have a , control lever, and a display panel ?

Remote display for a surge guard is a possible .

We are going to have to get you up to speed on adding pictures to your posts , that will speed things up here in the forums.

That looks like the remote readout for a Progressive Industries EMS. It should cycle between voltage, amps being used , frequency, as well as show any errors/faults.

I'll add my "YES" to what others have said, it is certainly a remove display for a Progressive Industries EMS protection device. You are very lucky to have it!

You can’t turn it off, it’s only off when no shore power going thru it.
