It's great to actually get such good service from a company these days.
My premium is due this month, so I got a quote from American Modern. They were a few dollars less, but when you take into consideration that it did not include roadside assistance, they were actually a few dollars more. It probably would have been a wash, but American Modern tacked on a %10 increase for "inexperinced operator". I don't know how much experince they require, but I am anything but inexperienced.
Is not worth the hassel of fighting with them. I'm happy with National Interstate and their phenominal roadside assitance, I'm going to stick with them.

is your roadside with national with coach net....that is what they were telling me...

I signed up with Progressive through USAA last October when we purchased our rig. USAA no longer offers RV insurance, . However, our premium was only $524 for 12 months with a $500 deductible. Now I am curious if I will see a huge spike in my premium come October.

Your original post doesn't indicate which state your rig is insured in (I didn't read through all 5 pages of posts!). However, we have been insured with Progressive in South Dakota, both fulltimers and auto, and our insurance premiums haven't increased...or, if they have, it's only been by a few dollars.

Linda,
We're SD insured (with assistance(?) from Poliseek). Two years ago Progressive was going to increase substantially, Poliseek put us with National General for $ what our insurance had been with Progressive. There was no accident or change in our status to cause the hike...just came out of the blue. It appears that nobody really knows who gets a premium increase...lottery?

Well, count me as another one that won't renew with Progressive. Called and asked for some reasoning why the increase ($121.) in my yearly premium and they can't provide a decent answer. Even told the CSR to pass it on to the management about this thread going on in IRV2.com.

Modern Insurance is "de-emphasizing" their RV product and is not renewing policies. Farm & City is recommending Allied to us. I don't know anything about them.
Nothing was mentioned re length of MH.
