I say generally too because I assume there is a margin one way or the other based on where you and your tires are....(climate).
Further; I bought my coach new, but it sat on the lot for a whole year without tire shades before I came along. What about that time period?
What are your thoughts/experiences on this?

It only took 3-1/2 years for my 6 Michelin tires, (which had been covered), to develop side wall cracks severe enouh that Michelin Customer Care said they were no longer safe to use.
However the 2 previous sets of Goodyears on my coach both lasted over 7 years.

Where were these cracking Michilen tires made? Seems like they are an excellent tire except for a bad period. Just wondering. Have never had them on a motorhome so have no experience that way. I suspect the cracking ones MAY have been made offshore.

I don't know where my Michelin tires where made.

However I can assure you that if/when you buy Michelin tires that develop sidewall cracks... where Michelin made those tires will NOT be high on your "list of concerns".

I had Goodyears (dated December, 2003) and replaced them with Continentals in April, 2011.
