I have one of the white plastic tanks on my 1999 DSDP (Cat engine), guess what it has sprung a leak. Freightliner no longer supplies the old tank in favor of a new metal tank. The tank itself is not too pricey but the kit and tank comes to over $600.00. Has any one installed this tank, and what is included with the kit.

$600 sounds very pricey. Must be one helluva kit .

Did you talk to Freightliner Service at Gaffney or to a regular Freightliner dealer? The Gaffney number is 864-206-8683, talk to Pat if you can. They offer a discount if you're a member of the Freightliner Chassis Owners Club (FCOC).

Good Luck.
