Ramco convex mirror

I am trying to replace the GLS602 lower convex mirror. I have the replacement part. How does it go into the housing. It looks like it should either snap out or have a small turn and then snap out. Any help appreciated. I would hate to break this bracket.

I have Ramco mirrors (don't know what model), and my lower mirrors are held in place by double-sided foam adhesive tape.

Yes, as paz says, double sided tape is used on my Ramco mirrors as well. Be very careful in removing the old glass, technician broke part of the mechanism on one of mine while attempting a related repair, and the whole mirror had to be replaced because of it.

I have a 2000 Newmar Dutch Star, and the lower convex mirror fell off during a rainstorm while I was gone. The idea shared about the double sided foam gasket gave me an idea. I looked on Amazon and found this 4"X8" tape: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o00_s00
It looks like it will do the job since it is industrial strength. Will let you know how it goes.

If you will PM me your email address, I can email you the installation instructions I received from Ramco when I had to replace my convex mirror.
