Oil of peppermint and cayenne pepper mixed with water. Look it up on I think CNBC for mix. Pet friendly. Mixed in pump up sprayer.

Why not feed them before they get into the MH? Dryer sheets don't work they used them for bedding in one of our boats. This works great for me see attached, placed at each tire and into the engine compartment on the air filter. Cheep, pet friendly make them any size for what you want to feed!

Somewhere in the irv2.com forums a guy posted pictures of his home-made,self-resupplying, rat/mouse poison bait trap that prevents pets and children from accessing the poison, and keeps the bait dry in wet weather. It's a "T" made from pvc pipe with an innovative idea for re-supplying fresh bait long-term, as it is consumed by rodents.

Ray,In: right above your post.. Is that guy. Our 5er sits for 6 months at a CG in Pa. and, these are under the unit, in the unit and in the basement. Our boats and MH have them placed around the inside of the tires. They work for us and as Ray says we just keep reusing them over and over again.

Last year heard them chewing under hood of 2011 f-350 ,put 2 d-con pellets under hood they ate them all .They were chewing shroud and fiberglass. I also put a milk crate outside by woodpile with bait under neath with cinder block on top, only small rodents fit through.

Nope I missed it until later. I plan to use his plans to make one, I like that TomCat bait, not nearly as hard to handle at the pellet stuff, and mice can't carry it out to where pets can eat.

HughP: the bait is Tom Cat blocks from Farm & Tractor. A 1/4" x 12" threaded rod fits right down the predrilled hole and I use a 1 1/4" washer to hold them on to rod with a wing nut so I can refill as needed.

I saw an article on Pinterest that said putting a flea collar in your bays will keep mice away.
