I would like to be able to verify engine size and HP.
When did the workhorse start?
Workhorse began in the middle of model year 1999, and continued making the P32 model chassis thru model year 2005. ALL P32 chassis have either a "3" or a "5" in the sixth vin # position. ALL workhorse built chassis have "5B4" as the first three characters in the vin #. When WCC started making the W series chassis they used a "6" in the sixth vin # position to indicate both W20 and W22 chassis.
Regarding the motor, prior to 2001 all the GM/WCC gassers were 454 cu. in. and then they all got the 8.1L (496 cu. in.)
I believe the older F53 chassis had the 460 V-8 and then they went to the V-10, but I'll leave it to the Ford guys to provide specifics.
