At my last rv PARK I had 30 amp service only.
I ran my air bedroom air conditioner for appox. 15 minutes and then it kicked off....At my next RV park which had 50 amp service I tried to run the air cond. and nothing happened. My furnance from the same thermostat does not work and a wall socket in the bathroom does not work. If I fire up the generator everthing works just fine..Can someone help me with this problem....

John,

What kind of RV do you have? (brand, model, size, year, etc.) The more info the better when looking for tech help.

John welcome to irv2
Check that outlet in bathroom it maybe a ground fault outlet that has to be reset. Also check your ckt brakers in load box you may have some tripped there also. Where ever your converter is check to see if you have 110v for the converter, it supplys 12v for your furnace and house batteries.
You can input your coach and chassis info in the signature block of your profile second page.
Let us know how your making out.

John, First let me welcome you to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us and look forwar to reading of your adventures and maybe even help with questions. If your coach has an inverter charger check the circuit breaker on it to be sure it has not tripped. Since the generator will power everything else I have a feeling this is your problem. If not it could be in the transfer switch on shore power side. Let us know what you find. Good luck and enjoy the website.
