I have a 91 Coachmen P30 Chassis, and there is a howling like noise coming from the rear at low speeds. If I apply the brakes, the noise goes away. Could this be a hydraulic problem or an axle problem?
Thanks,
Randy

Randy, you might check both your rear brakes and your rear axle bearings, then if they are in good operational shape, it is a good probability that you have a rear-end gear/bearing problem. You may need to find a good truck service center (Local Chevy\GMC truck dealer) and have them do the checks as you need special wheel lift dollies to remove the rear wheels.

Good luck and let us know the outcome of what you find - Glenn

Have you checked the lube level in your rear axel housing lately.
