Red face Rear Slide Problem

We are brand new to the motorhome scene and have a 2001 National Tradewinds 7370 diesel pusher. We cannot get our bedroom slide to go all the way out. Does anyone out there know where the motors to the slides are located and how to get to them to find a switch? Thanks so much!!

Hello tazgran and welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy the website and forums. Congratulations on your Tradewinds. I am not familiar with you floor plan by model number. Have you made sure there is no obstruction around the slideout flanges? Make sure that you have good battery voltage before operating the slideouts. If this is the bed slideout that is giving the problem, usually the motor is under the bed and accessed by removing the flooring under the bed deck. You will probably not find a limit switch but you could have a problem under there like an obstruction. There are some systems that use controllers and others that use heavy wall switches. Let us know what you find and we will try to help.

Thanks so much for your response. The rear slide is a closet slide. It goes all the way out with the exception of about 6 inches which stops us from opening our nightstand drawers all the way. We have looked everywhere for a motor or switch. We found the one on the living-dining slide but cannot find the one for the closet. We cannot even find a way to manually crank it out. Any suggestions??
