Our rear view camera works just fine - when we are in reverse - but it shows no display when we switch to drive. We have had this issue before, but it has come & gone. Any advice? (2004 MADP)

This may sound like a smart alec answer, but is it turned on? We had one that would come on automatically when in reverse, but go back blank when in drive. Had to turn it on.

Actually, not such a smart alec answer. We took my parents to Shreveport, LA a few weeks ago & had forgotten to turn the camera on - took us 1/2 mile to realize that was the problem :-). Anyway, this time we have toggled that switch more times than I care to mention without success!?!

My Voyager monitor uses three leads to operate. Ground, power, and power from backup lights. It sounds like you have ground and backup power, no power. Check for power or connections on your switch.

I represent ASA Electronics, the producer of the JENSEN brand of televisions, stereos, and speakers and the Voyager brand of observation monitors and cameras. At ASA, we strive to provide excellent customer service and product satisfaction and would like to offer some assistance in this matter.
The issue you are describing does indeed sound like the monitor does not have +12VDC on the main power wire (RED ACC+). Please verify you have +12VDC available on this wire at the monitor when the vehicles' ignition is ON. If +12VDC is not available at the monitor harness, check for blown fuse either in-line or on the circuit.
