My 2000 SunCruiser has a black and white rear view TV system and I would like to upgrade it to color. I wonder if anyone has done that or is it even feasible, i.e. can the existing cable be used. Certainly not feasible if it needs to be re-cabled from the rear camera to the dash. Thanks.

Lew, I find that the Black & White monitors have much better clairity and sharpness (Both daytime & nighttime) than the color systems. This may not be the case with the newer set-ups as it has been about a year since I have driven in a coach with a good high-end color system. I also understand that certain systems have COLOR cameras, but B&W monitors, so if you want color all you have to do is change the monitor. I have never personally talked to anyone that has had one though. I am sure someone that has changed theirs out from B&W to color will join in the thread soon and let us all know how they like the change to color.

Good luck - Glenn.

Lew,

Anytime I have a question or problem with a camera system I call Tim at "RV Cams".
