Rearview Camera Not Working

I have a MVP-MO6070SXS Rear Vision Observation system in my 1996 Pace Arrow RV. The system works fine while driving forward; however, when you place the gear shift in reverse, the monitor screen goes blank and turns white. I have checked the connections behind the monitor and they are tight and clean. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to repair this problem?

You may have a trigger circuit for reverse that has a blown inline fuse or a bad connection at the source. It could be connected to a hot 12vdc source if you wish.

SOunds like it could be the trigger mechanism (triggered by the gear shift)
