Our Dometic refrigerator is hooked up to and running good on electric. Today we noticed that the "check" light is lit. We don't know when it came on but like I said, we just noticed it. Is there any reason the light should be on when operating on AC?

I understand that when running on propane, the light would come on if there is a problem with the burner igniting.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

If your motorhome lost electric and did not properly switch to gas the Check Light will come on. Power the refrigerator off and back on to reset the check light. Let it run a few minutes on electric and then switch it to LP. See if the check light comes back on. It may have been a one time failure or you will need to do troubleshooting if it happens again.

If you were not able to reset the refrigerator and you do have power at the receptacle please give us the model and production number so we can be of better assistance.

Loss of 12v power could cause the check light to come on, even when cooling via 120vac. The fridge circuit board still needs 12v power, even in AC mode.
