a two light fixture can be bought on Amazon for 12 bucks, single light for 8bulbs included. i just bought 6. So compare to price of bulbs and the specs for operation.

Question: Should you replace just the bulbs or the entire fixture?
Answer: YES

In many cases there is nothing wrong with the fixture and a simple lamp replacement is all that is needed.. At the worst 20 bucks a pop.. at the best closer to 2 bucks a pop. (Eco-Led 18=19 bucks at better RV dealers are the BEST LED lamps I have tested... But they are expensive).

However some of the new led fixtures assemblies look real, real, real nice and you may wish to upgrade the fixture as wll..

And occasionally the fixture has issues (I have repair parts when that happens).

Home is where I park it!

Hope I don't have to go the route of new fixtures ... but didn't want to further high jack MsBeHav's thread so started another one with my specific problem.

I have replaced about 400 bulbs for friends and every one gives more light the the originals.
I absolutely use only 5050 elements in different combination.
921s I use minimum 13-5050. 1141 are replaced with 23-5050.
