replacing shower

i have a question on replacing the shower. the whole thing. We are looking at Motorhomes and many that we like have showers that require to step up into more than others. I was wondering if it is possible to replace it with a closer to floor entry as we would need something that didn't require stepping high over to get into the shower.

It all has to do with how much room is underneath for your ptrap.

I assume you mean the plumbing. so when a MH has a high step in shower it's the ptrap placement that determines it?

I don't know the answer, but I have the same concern. Our shower is a nice size, but the step DOWN can be disconcerting if you aren't paying attention upon exit. (Don't ask. )

I've seen horse trailers with very low showers and the P trap was outside, under the trailer.
You'll just have to look. They might not have planned to have the plumbing so low. Maybe your holding tank is right under it.

Most RV'S have all the plumbing inside the box to keep it from freezing in cold weather use. The floor is high because the plumbing is under it and in some cases wireing and heating ducts.
