Rhino sewer hose kit
I'm looking to purchase the Rhine Flex sewer hose kit from camping world but was wondering is it worth it to go for the Rhino extreme kit?
Does the extension hose only come in 5 foot lengths?

Good morning Jim.
You can purchase them at Walmart - Rhino for a few pennies less.
The kit is a 15 foot hose. They also have a 5 foot extension, which I purchased. If you get the extension, check the ends to make sure they are in the box. I don't remember if the extension comes with or without one of the ends, but you can buy them separately and they just screw on.

p.s., Well worth the purchase price in my opinion.

The one I just bought at Walmart same as C/World was around 46 bucks extends to 22 ft, best I have ever used, it coils up nicely without a mess, goes in short when coiled up. Try it you will never use anything but.

I use rhino also great hose you only extend as much as needed.

sorry guys but i've had two, they boath had leaks in the hose when new. i do like the concept.

There are hose tighten rings at each end to secure hose to fitting, mine have come loose before.

I have the Rhino and 5' extension and have been very happy with it.

I have the Rino and like it's concept also. However, it is still crushable, as someone stepped on mine and kinked it. I straightened it out and still use it. I just hope it doesn't develop a leak, at the crushed point. Of course, I can just buy another extention if it does.

I also have had two RinoFlex hoses.. The first one I bought lasted like 5 years and had been stepped on (I don't know if it was me or someone else) a few times. The new one I bought only the hose (no ends) and re-used ends off the 2nd one.. Since the MH is only six years old It is still going strong.
I have had other hoses that did not last as long.. STRANGELY however the only hose I have that is over five years old is the el-cheapo the dealer tossed in as part of the "Starter Pack" And yes, I use it when I need more hose than the Rino.
I have the Rino (15 foot) an extension (10 or 15, different brand) the El-cheapo (10 foot) and a 20 foot Camco self-storing I almost never use. I have replaced it however.

Since it seems noe one else has picked up on you question. I have not used the Rhino Extreme, BUT I have used the "Smart Drain" wich is like the extreme in it does not have the wire inside. I also have changed my system to use "Cam-lock" fitting by Banjo. These are the same fittings used on Honey dipper trucks, They are buliker but do not leak. The smart drain fittings are garbage but I like the hose. Years ago in the early 1990's I found a hose that was like the smart drain hose, the ends had the support rings flattned for easy connection, have not been able to find again but am still looking. Sorry I was gone for a munite, but to answer yes I think any hose that does not have the supporting wire to cause leaks of get crushed is well worth the little extra monye.

I too would like to know if the RhinoEXTREME is worth the extra money over the RhinoFLEX. The difference in cost is $46.65 versus $29.46 for the 15' kits from Amazon.
Currently I am using the standard hose that came with the coach. But when I go and replace it, I will be looking at the Rhino something. I like the idea of collapsing it and having it stay, making it a whole lot easier to stow in the sewer bay. I also like the idea of using only as much as you need when you don't need a long run.

If you can accept the higher cost, we have found our Drain Master system bullet proof. Couldn't be happier with it.
