Question Roof Re-Coat Dealer in SoCal

I am considering having my RV’s TPO roof re-coated now that it is 10 years old. Can anyone recommend a good shop in Southern California that can perform this?

Thanks.

I am having Crown Rv Collision Center in Palm Desert apply EPDM Coatings - Liquid EPDM Rubber Roof Coatings For Roof Leaks to my roof next week. Kelly the owner does quality work.

Thanks. Let me know how it turns out. I live in Upland, so Palm Desert is a little drive for me, but I don't mind if the work is good. May I ask how much you were quoted?

Why not look at Roof Armor. They do one of the new spray on roofs with a lifetime warranty against leaks. Plus they'll come to you and do the job. I was quoted $120 a linear foot.

That would add up to 3600 for a 30 footer. Seems a bit pricey to me.

I was quoted $4300 for a similar type of spray-on roof for my 39 footer, which is why I'm shopping around.

Acacia RV in Colton does that kind of work. I've been going there for years and have never been disappointed with their quality of work . I highly recommend them as they do excellent work in a timely manner.

I have been using Acacia RV for years and have never been disappointed with their work. They just replaced the roof on my next door neighbors trailer including some of the wood which had rotted due to a water leak. They did an excellent job.

San Diego RV Center does that kind of work. I believe they use Rhino Liner. I'm leaning toward LineX myself since it comes in colors now, and any repair that might be needed down the road can be done by any LineX dealer. Plus it offers a lifetime warranty. In the past I had LineX in my pickups, and that stuff was tough. I was told it's a slightly different formula for a roof application, and once it's done you never have to caulk again.

Roof Re-Coat Dealer in SoCal

Thanks guys.

I don't know about using bedliner. I had Rhino Liner sprayed on my truck bed when it was new. It went from shiny to badly faded in one year. I wouldn't want that ugly faded product on the roof of my coach. I want something that resembles the looks of my original TPO roof.

Got to ask

I just purchased some Dicor products one for cleaning and then the protective coating all less than $250.00 and I have a 43' RV with fiberglass roof. Have not done the work yet, but less than a day, weather permitting for entire project. With that kind of savings, what would be the reason to pay someone all that extra money?

Just curious.

With the new spray on roofs you never have to caulk again. They also offer a lifetime warranty against leaks. I saw a LineX roof and it looked great. It's not the same as pickup bedliner spray. It also comes in colors and the guy also had the front of his coach sprayed to match the color of the coach. He said he just uses a brush to get the bugs off.
