Roof repair

Got a small hole in the rubber roof and I need to repair it, obviously. Every product I've seen so far claims to be for the rubber roofs, but when I look them up at the mfg.s site, the spec sheets all seem to say to not use them on rubber roofs. So what's a good product to use, and where can I get it?

Charliez, here is a comment from a post I made 29Jul04. In my personal conversation with a Firestone engineer he said the most important steps in repairing EDPM are #1,use the proper adhesive. #2,insure the patch material is larger that the tear by 6inches in all directions. There hav also been good reports of using Eternabond patch tape. Happy Trails!!

[most of the EDPM roofing is a Firestone product and they market the specialty white EDPM for rv's. I would suggest you give them a call for guidance. 1-800-428-4442. Tell the operator you would like to speak to someone about EDPM. There is also good info at ]http://www.firestonebpco.com]
