Roof reseal.
I'm here in Minnesota at a place called Gators looking to have my roof resealed. They're telling me it's going to be five or six hundred dollars. It is a 24ft Dynamax isata 2007. Does that price seem reasonable?

Many on here may tell you it is too high but when you consider most places are $125+ per hour for labor I don't think it's too bad. If they do a proper job there could be a lot of scraping and cleaning before they put down the new stuff.

Agree, if they did it right, it's not too high. I paid something more to my repair shop for a full remove and reseal on our previous 38' coach.

Thanks guys. I just got back from another RV sales place and they quoted me 2500. So, GATRs it is. They just called and said they had a cancellation so I'm on my way to have it done today. Thanks for the confidence build. They are going to scrape and reseal everything. The other place couldn't see me for three weeks.😁

Roofs
Wow! That sounds like a reasonable price considering the roof protects the investment (albeit depreciating) and keeps one from waking up thinking they'd peed the bed! I'm sure that the $2500 price quoted would be at least double that here in the GWN.
Is the Gatrs a local repair shop or is it a States wide chain?

Let us see (pix) the finish product and what product did they use. Material and labor seems like an excellent price. Good luck

As a measurement tool for you, I own a 2000 R-Vision Condor motorhome. It is a Class A 34ft. long. I had the roof resealed in March 2016 by a reputable company here and the total was $565.00. I was totally satisfied with the work done and I have no leaks since.

Using Dikor I checked, and they have 5 centers in 2 in Minnesota and 3 in Iowa. I each ed for awhile and scraping every little bit off. Better than I would have done for the first time. After this, would I be able to just touch up and patch for a few years? How long does this last? I'm looking for a covered space for the winter.

Yes, a few to several years typically. Sun exposure is the biggie variable of course.

$2500 is way too much, imho.

Ok. They just said they use silicone on the front and rear seams because othe type of roof it has. Can any concur? It's an aluminum roof. Otherwise looks good to me but I dont really know what's eight or wrong at this point.

What makes them think silcone is better then Eternabond. With silicone you will have leaks in a year or two. Eternabond will last virtually forever if installed properly.
