Rooftop A/c Shroud

Doe's anyony know where to obtain replacement A/C shrouds for the chillaire ac units at? Or is there another that I could easily modify for use?The front unit is so badly weathered that it is cracking apart and not repairable.
Thanks,Terry Higham

Sorry - never heard of that brand of a/c in an RV. There is a Chillaire brand sold in the UK - is it an imported RV?

Coleman, DuoTherm and Carrier shrouds are available online - maybe one oft hem could be modified to fit. Or maybe the good folks at PPL Motorhomes Parts might know of something, even if it isn't in their online catalog.

That's a new one on me, but perhaps these folks can help you. I have done business with them and they have good products.
Air Conditioner Shrouds | AC Shrouds | RV Air Conditioner Covers

Give them a call and see if any they have will adapt.

The A/C units are on an 84 Vogue 2. On a P32 chassis,American made. The rooftop units have stickers in side that tell me there 13.5k b.t.u. model 714 made by Kysor Industrial Corp, Kysor, Illlinois. But the number given rings in to a different place now. The A/C units work great, we've already had high 90 degree days here in Tn and you could hang meat in it, so I really don't want to replace the unit to just to get a shroud cover. I'll try the link that the Berrys have provided and maybe come up with something.(Thanks by the way).

There is a Kysor Industrial Corp. in Georgia that makes A/C units. Their plant in Michigan is now a superfund cleanup site.

If worse comes to worse, fiberglass over the old one. Several layers, sand and paint.

I am going to have to purchase a new shroud for my 84 Winnebago Chieftain. I found this place to have a nice selection.
