Good Morning All,

I am still puttering around my Revolution in the driveway. (Waiting for Bob's surgery on Friday to make plans for our first outing...) Yesterday, I noticed that there is a rubber strip that seems to be coming loose from the bottom of the shower door. It also looks like it might be splitting. I am reluctant to pull it off completely unless I know what I am doing. Can anyone shed some light on the subject before I charge into the task? And if I must replace it, where do I purchase it...Camping World, Home Depot, Fleetwood??

Thanks, as always, in advance for your kind attention to my questions.

Faith

The strip slides in and slides out in a channel under the door. Any well stocked rv dealer parts dept has it if not call Mobility RV in Forest City Iowa.

I found a replacement in HD It was a door sweep in the weatherstrip department. It was an aluminum strip with the proper shaped vinyl insert.Used the vinyl and threw out the aluminum.

Mine was also splitting and causing the door to "hang" when closing. I finally pulled it out and left it ot. No leaks yet!

After searching for months at Lowe's, Home Depot and every hardware store I came across in vain (couldn't find the same vinyl profile), I took the vinyl strip out and threw it away. It was split so badly it wasn't doing any good anyway. I left the aluminum strip in place, and it shields the space under the door from splashes. The door sill slopes inward with a lip on the outer edge to prevent water from running out. No leaks in over a year of everyday use.
