I have a 2000 journey. I can not use my wipers and running light at the same time. When I turn My lights on my wipers quit. Has any one had this problem or may know what may be my problem. Thanks Pridetide

It sounds like a bad ground connection to me. I would run an additional ground wire from each to a good ground point. Harvey

If the added grounds do not do the trick, then replacement of the wiper control module will be required. We had to replace one a few months back for this very same problem.

Thanks for the help. I will try the ground wire first. I found that if I turned my dash lights out that my wipers and running lights worked fine.

I thought I just needed heavier wires to my cigarette lighter to run a cd player, but as soon as I added a new ground wire, several similar weird things cleared up! Good luck, HarveyP
