If you are sitting still, that hot exhaust is blowing directly out from the rv. If you are driving down the road, that hot exhaust is blowing on the edge of the furnace cutout. What will that do to the paint, decals, whatever finish you have?

Nothing, it dilutes instantly with the volumes flowing past.

I think you are mistaken. If your furnace had a 3 or 4 inch tip on maybe, but not likely the way they are designed. Why does my engine exhaust cook my paint when it is 6" away from the compartment door?

We left Harrisburg PA. this morning in 30 degree temps. When we stopped 300 miles later, in VA. we heard the heat running. We forgot to turn it off, but everything is fine.
It's a 2000 Gulfstream Yellowstone, Class C. It is a standard propane heater, just like millions of them out there.

About 8 litres per second more ouput and about 300° in temp
