We are living in a very damp climate and are having problems with rust on our ceiling. They are caused from moisture getting under the carpet on the ceiling.

Any idea how to clean them? Bleach didn't work.

Charlotte,

I found the tip on E-How.

http://www.ehow.com/how_18749_remove-rust-carpet.html

Or you could try something like T-Rust or a competitors product.

http://rx4carpets.com/t_rust.html

I suppose you could use a rug doctor machine filed with plain water to do the rinse after you were done.

I would be double check the roof seams to play it safe and make sure it is just condensation and not a leak too.

Regards,

Neil

Charlotte, last year we found Odor-Eaters Stain Remover, worked great for us.
