I personally have never seen a fridge vent on the side, all I have seen are on top. Why in the world would you want to keep your fridge running?

If the MH is covered, the fridge should be turned off.
Running the fridge with vents covered should not be done.

I have a kitchen slide, thats why both vents are on the side. They have a fan that has a thermostat on the upper coils. I would like to know what everyone thinks about covering the MH, to cover or not to cover? Why would you run the freg all the time?

Agreed, either on gas or electric. I don't think cutting holes would be a good idea. Kind of defeats the purpose of a cover.

Joe, if you're going to cover the RV using some type of "canvas" or similar material then leave the reefer off. Tat's just my opinion but I would not want excess heat trapped under the "canvas".

The fridge won't work if it can't vent the heat anyway, so either turn the fridge off or make some provision for air flow in the bottom grill and out the top vent.

Wow. I keep my fridge running all the time, even with the cover on, no ill effects after nearly 6 years between my trailer and my MH.

If your fridge is on with the cover over the RV and it continues to cool adequately, it must be getting adequate ventilation somehow.
