RV Drain pipe

Found an interesting video on You Tube about RV drain systen and I am wondering if anyone has this product. To us it looks like a great solution to handling RV waste and dealing with drain hoses.

It seems like it would be very good for staying in one place for a long period of time. A rigid drain is less subject to the elements and would last longer. Where I stay in the Keys, the large lizards chew on the normal sewer hoses.

For traveling, it seems that it is overkill to set up for a single night while traveling. The cost would be another issue. I sometimes get carried away spending a $100 on a $5 problem. Then again, that's what life is about. I would say, I would pay $150 for one to use at my place in the Keys!

I tried all combos of the e-mails and got them all returned as well.

You could make one out of PVC alot cheaper than $150.00!

Even if you bought a large PVC pipe and placed it over your existing drain setup to ward off the "monsters".

We encase our sewer hose with pvc rain gutter and ball-bungies. We only need three feet of hose for most on-the-go dumpstations!!

I give them a lot of credit for coming up with an innovative produce. I wonder about some of the many O ring seals leaking though. There will be times when their length will not reach and then the flexible hoses come out again. Looking around campgrounds, I see that everyone has their own preferences so this product will be just right for some. For me the flexible hoses with an extra hose when needed work fine. I just lay it one the ground even if uphill. They are cheap, light weight, easy to use, and easy to store.

I just recieved a brouchure in the mail from them. Pretty much what is shown on the web site. There phone number is 707-954-1454 or 707-464-7804. The owners name is Valdon Miller. His kits he has advertised are $160.00 plus shipping. I did see on anotherwebpage that they will be in Quartzite AZ in Jan 2010.

3" hoses and pipes is Old School.
I prefer using the Clean Dump.
RV Macerator Pump & RV Waste Disposal Accessories
as it is faster, easier, cleaner, pumps waste up hill,
and more compact.
If you going to be stationary and homesteading for a long time, it would be cheaper just to get PVC pipe, fitting and glue at the local hardware store.

Doggy- yours is the first statement I've seen that the macerator is faster than a gravity sewer hose. Do you mean faster handling the hose setup, or faster w/the actual dump time?

I hear elsewhere it takes 20 minutes to dump a 75 gal or so tank full.

I expect mathematics will indicate fluid will flow faster thru a 3 inch hose than a 1 inch hose - but not uphill. I find operating the Clean-Dump as easy as pumping fuel. It is a more expedient and cleaner way to accomplish the entire task of dumping. The RV Macerator Pump & RV Waste Disposal Accessories answers most if not all questions.

I also have a macerator but it has its limitations. You are coming from a 3 inch pipe down to a 1 inch hose. Although you are pumping it down the 1 inch hose rather quickly, you do not get the “whoosh flush” action when the whole thing goes down a 3 inch hose. I generally stick to the 3 inch hose. The attached picture is how I plumbed the macerator into a friend’s basement plumbing one time in Connecticut. I am still interested in an EzeFlush system. I hope someone who has one will chime in a give us a report.
