Welcome CCEMSEMT to irv2.
After owning 6 MH's have never had extended warranty. If you have a older MH maybe a problem getting insurance and may cost to much.
Some people do get it on newer MH's but if your new coach warranty is used and a dealer is reliable the extended may not have been necessary.
Putting your money in bank would be a better option.
You should get some responses to the contrary so just have to make your own decision.
Enjoy the forums and do post often.

My wife and i have consider doing just that. We have a 2001 four winds class "c". I have gotton a couple of quotes from warranty companies, but its hard to say who's good and bad. I am beginning to believe they all the same.

When we bought our RV 4 years ago, as used, we purchased the extended warranty and were glad we. When it came time to renew it we figured out what was spent under the warranty for repairs and it came to over $9000.00 in that four year time!!
We renewed it. I think they are called Star Warranty. Covers most but, of course, not all items. We're happy with them.
Example..... Slide hydraulic's, 4 hoses, $435.00
Fuel pump (in tank) $575.00
Leveling jacks (2) and 2 hoses $1000.00
Leveling jack pump, solenoid and hose $770.00
Remote door operators (2) $550.00
Comand center heating/cooling thermostat $360.00
PLUS LABOR!!
That was just a few for over the 4 years so you decide, to us, it is a piece of mind.
my 2 cents!

We also had Star. The dash air repair alone paid for the the service contract, plus the toilet, refrigerator, and on and on. When we traded the coach for a new one. I got another service contract from them. If nothing else, for the piece of mind.

Another vote for Interstate Star if you decide to buy a policy.

Thanks for all the help. Interstate Star was one of the ones we were looking at. The dealership were we bought ours recommends Route 66. Any thoughts on this one. Also National Warranty of Florida. All thoughts and comments are appreciated.
