I did not spend the money on a nice home on wheels so I can go into the public shower or bathroom. Never have and never will and that goes for my wife too.

The wife and both daughters have long hair. They like to use the "unlimited" hot water in the campgrounds about once each week. I've been taking Navy showers for decades and find no reason to leave the MH.

I've never used the CG showers, but I still fit in my MH's shower.

If the facilities are clean, we use them simply because I don't want to clean the shower. How's that for lazy?

Depends on FHU and how long we are staying. 90 % of the time a never shower works fine.

Why do people who have a full kitchen in their RV go to restaurants to eat, or buy fast food?

It all depends ... we seem to find ourselves in "electric only" state and county parks on a pretty regular basis. When that's the case - I'll often use the campground showers (IF they're reasonably convenient in terms of distance from the coach and are in decent shape (i.e., reasonably clean, good warm water, decent water pressure, etc.) Meanwhile my DW will only use the shower in the coach. I've spent so much time in locker rooms (military, gyms, hockey, etc.) that a public shower doesn't bother me in the least. If it means I can extend how long our fresh water / space in the hold tanks will last - I don't mind a bit.

Why do birds suddenly appear...?

AMEN!

The DW and I have never used a public shower or bathroom in an RV park and we never will. With a perfectly functioning private bathroom and shower in your motor home, why would you want to use a public facility? Sorry, but I just don't get it.

RV Park Mystery

We did nuthin but boondock for several decades. No "self contained" tent!
Now, we can go a week without dumping. We advanced beyond the pit toilet!
Campgroud toidies and showers are for tenters. Get it?

Last time i used the camp shower, I was staying in a tent. From our Cub to now with our latest MH, we use the shower in our units. I didn't buy not to use all parts of our units.
