RV Snap Pad
Has anyone tried the RV Snap Pad? These are rubberized feet that attach to the bottom of your leveling jacks. $90 for a set of four (plus $10 to ship). Seem simple enough and easier than the square rubber pads you have to physically put under your leveling jacks.

seems unnecessary. I give the mfg credit for coming up with something new but I don't see the need.

Installed a set of them before our trip to FL for Easter. Easier than having to re-level the unit after the boards the better half placed under the jacks were off by half the foot plate. Also no getting under unit to pick up the boards when picking up. No more round marks in the black top driveway.

I've got them and finally got them installed this year. I've used them once and I agree, they make a difference on leveling by not allowing the feet to sink. Now I only use a pad under the levelers if I have to put the tires on spacers due to extreme angles.
I would say the product is worth the money.

I have a DP and a 5th wheel. I just put them on the 5er and really like them. If they make them for the HWH leveling system I have in the DP I will add them.

How much does the snap pad lower the height of your jacks? I sometimes scrape mine coming out of the driveway of gas stations... seems like a nice concept but I'm afraid I'd ruin them on the rear jacks...

Great question!
They add 1 1/8" to the height of your jacks. Dragging your jacks is always a concern. Some of our customers like SnapPad because they protect your jacks (specifically the resin coating) from being damaged. The pads are made from from recycled rubber so they can take a lot of punishment and maintain there integrity. That said, if the angle is too steep there is a possibility they could be scrapped off. Each rig is a little bit different though. To date that has only happen a couple of times with 5th wheels and we have no reports of it happening with motorhomes.

What is the biggest size Snap pad that you make? I have heavy diesel pusher and the jack pads are pretty good size... I need to measure them. Just wondering if these are just for smaller diameter jack pads or if you make larger ones??
Thanks, Brian.

Hi Brian,
Our current model fits on LCI's 'Level up' & 'Ground Control 3.0' leveling systems. Those jacks come standard with 9" round jack feet. However we are already working on numerous other designs to fit a variety of jacks, so once you know what system you have (I'm guessing HWH, PowerGear or Equalizer) let us know at info@rvsnappad.com. I'll put you on our waiting list and notify you the moment we release a version that will fit on your jacks.
Thanks for your interest in SnapPad.
