I have been thinking about getting a windshield and side window covers by RVSungard. Did a search and only one post back in 2004 on them. Has anyone else used these covers and did you get the snap or twist locks to attach them? Has anyone had a color other than white?

Yes,
Had a teal color with snaps on a 2001 Surf Side. the snaps were ok but could not get use to the color. I now have 2007 Sea Breeze the covers are black with twist locks. The black stops more heat and light and I like the twist locks much better.

IRVTrekin2,
We bought RVsunshades while we we in Branson for the national rally. When he put them on, the temperature in the coach dropped significantly.
We are presently in the Houston area, and I wouldn't try to guess how hot it would be without them.
They are black and are put on with snaps.
We are really enjoying them.

Rick

Just got black Sunguards in June. Got the snaps and installed them myself. I like the snaps because I can unsnap the tops with my awning pull arm. I also had Sunguards on my 1994 Vectra and they worked very well.

I bought the Prompt ones JC2 provided the link to in the earlier post. They go up and down in a few seconds without having to use a ladder . I am very happy with them

Our sunscreens mount on the inside of the windshield. Attach with suction cups to glass. Same material as outside mount, same shading effect. No ladders, no holes in coach, don't get dirty or wet. 85% UV protection. Works for me.

I have the 85% heavy screen there are two weights. The lighter model just isn't effective enough. I use twist fastners and like them. The sun screens are almost a must have in Florida in the winter,in fact they are nice all the time. You can see out, but no one can see in. They really assist in keeping the coach cooler and cut glare almost totally. There is a model out now that does not require snaps or twist locks, if I was to buy a new set I would get these, they are easy to install. No ladder needed.

We use the EZ RV Shades by Sungard, distributed by Gulbranson Enterprises, 1-800-825-4915. Mobile # 509-979-0009. Aparently no website.

I just got my Sunguard screens by UPS yesterday afternoon. Gonna install them today - if I can get my chores done. Right out of the box, they look like an excellent product.

Consider if you will a system that can be applied while your feet never leave the ground.
