RVP/Airxcel/Coleman Mach 8 Low Profile A/C

Just a followup to a previous post by Pat Bauer concerning the replacement blades for the noisy A/C units.

I ordered the replacement blades today and the part # has changed to 1472C5041. A spacer has been added, therefore, the # change.

Cost is $24.95 for the first unit and $14.95 each for the other two. Included shipping.

I have a problem with RV Products and a shipment of a new Mach 8 unit.
My Mach 8 AC/heat pump stopped cooling so I contacted Coleman and they gave me a mobile repair guy near me. The name of the company is RVology and a very nice guy named Hank came to look at AC unit and found that the compressor was frozen and that he had to order a new unit. He took pictures of take on unit with model number and serial number and also filled out necessary paperwork to order a new unit. He ordered the new unit and RVP told him it would be 5 to 7 days which was fine by me. After the 7th day Hank came up to replace the defective AC unit with a new one.
He disconnected the old one and set it on the roof and we pulled up the new one. Once we took the shroud off we noticed it was an AC unit only with no heat pump. So we put things back together and he said he would get RVP to ship him a new one overnight or second day air. Well they notified him that it was going UPS Freight which met by ground. RVP is in Kansas and they stated it takes 4 days to get to Georgia from Kansas( must be going by mule train). I then called RVP and told them I had scheduled a weekend away which now I had to cancel because the unit should have been there today and Hank was going to install it today but now it isn't coming until Mon. Mon is supposed to rain so won't get installed until Tues.
Can you believe it was their mistake and all they could tell me was that they can't ship the AC unit overnight or second day air and that it has to be shipped by ground UPS and naturally UPS don't work on Saturdays.
I hope I don't have to deal with RVP again as they are very irresponsible and really don't care about their customers since this was a warranty issue. I bet if I purchased it new they would ship it right away.
In closing I am very upset and think RVP should be taken to task regarding warranty work and their method of shipping.

Have the tech install the straight cool and use it until you get back. All he has to do is change the dip switches in the J-box to reflect that it is not a heat pump and it will work fine. 30 minutes and your rolling and cooling. Airexcel has been amazing to me and they will be fine with you doing so.

If I can help let me know.
