SAE or Metric
I have a 2003 Pace Arrow on a Workhorse W-22 chassis, 8.1 Chevy. I am getting ready to put together a tool kit to carry with me. I have not had to turn any wrenches on it yet. I figured I would try and get some information from those of you who have, as to whether I should carry SAE standard wrenches and sockets or metric, or a combination of both. Any help will be appreciated, I am only planning on the incidental repairs as needed nothing major.

I have a 2004 pace arrow and I just got a basic kit at lowes. It has metric and regular . I also have a Dewalt cordless drill.

Agree, even some pieces of equipment have both on them...my Onan does.

Why does it have to be either/or.. Why not both? Then you are sure to have the right size.
Suggestion.. Get a wrench socket that fits the wheel cover nuts. the one they include is ... Junk.
(The one I have can remove the lug nuts)

Both. Of course, the particular bolt or nut that needs turning won't match any of the tools you have with you. After you buy the right one you will find one sitting on your workbench at home. The one you just bought will join the one on the bench just as soon as your back is turned.

Definitely both :-) even if you use one or the other a few times, you never know in years to come that other set will be just what you need. Plus you can never have too many tools!!! :-D
