Hello,

I am a new moterhome owner and have been looking at tire monitoring systems. Is anyone familiar with or have any experience with the SAF-TEE Corp tire monitoring system?

http://www.truckerspartstore.com/category-s/33.htm

It seems to be less expensive than Doran or Pressure Pro, is an external system, and also monitors time temp.

Thanks...........WALT

Can't say that I have heard of that one Walt. I have just purchased and installed a system called "Tire Safeguard, that for a 10 tire system is the same price as the one you linked to. There is a post here on the forum with the details about the Tire Safeguard system. Good luck with what ever you decide.

I also just installed the Tire-Safeguard and it appears to be a winner. Was able to receive from all wheels including the toad without the optional extended antenna. While I do not have any experience with the Saf-Tee TPMS I have read some positive things about it. I opted for the Tire-SafeGuard because of the flow-thru sensors which allow airing up without taking the sensors off. Probably not a big deal, I think all of the TPMS have their + and -. Go for it if you like it.

This is a new one to me too. The website name suggests that this product is more likely marketed to truckers.

I use Pressure Pro, a product marketed to RVers.

Sometimes, when a product price seems to good to be true, it is. Investigat the product thuroughly before you purchase.
