Safeco RV Insurance

Does or has anyone had Safeco insurance on their Motor Home? If so would you recommend it to someone else. Thanks.

We have Safeco for the stick house and cars but they were really high for the coach. Other than that no complaints with Safeco.

I have Safeco on my MH, mainly because they had they best price. Haven't had a need for their assistance except on a windshield replacement, and they covered it (no deductible) no problem. Dick

I have Safeco as part of a package that includes home, auto, and MH. Up to now have not had a claim but this last week traveling between Oklahoma City and Amarillo Tx. (due west) we had a wind from the north. I was trying to get to the rest area just inside the Texas line when a truck passed me on the left just as a wind gust hit me from the North and it tore the Porch Awning off the side of the Motorhome. Not just the canvas but the entire awning, roller, struts and supports. It also took off the Sewer vents and an air vent on its way over the top.
So far they have been great about being in contact and getting an estimate. I am just waiting now on what the settlement will be.

We have Safeco for all oue insurance needs, house, car, truck and moho.
When we had a toyhauler trailer I took it to a place to have the roof treated as it was the rubber roof type.
There was a tear in the fabric and it was unknown to me.
The service person told me about it and asked for the insurance info, Safeco stepped right up
and paid for the new replacement to the tune of $7k and did not even raise my rates.
So I would say they have been good to us.

I would be interested in knowing what your monthly payment would be from Safeco. I have Progressive and they are not very RV knowledgeable.

Have all our insurance with Safeco and have had for over 25 year. Got a quote on the motorhome and thought it was rather high. Got a quote from Geico and it was half. Same exact coverage. Never done business with Geico. Anyone have any experience with them?

Rv Insurance

Currently have GMAC and looking to see if there is something better out there. Got a quote from Progressive and they were about $800 higher. So it won't be Progressive.

I also have House/car & MH. I have checked around for prices other co and Good Sam and the were about the same or higher. Last summer I had a clam. Hail damaged awnings. The sent an adjuster out and within 5 days I was ordering a new awning. So I have been very pleased.

I just changed everything from AmFam to Allstate and saved over $1,000 for the same coverage. Already had both windshields replaced; zero deductible.
