Salt Lake City engine repair service
I need to get my MAF sensor cleaned on a 2004 Workhorse 8.1 gas engine.
I see there is a Workhorse dealer, Rush Truck Center, but I'm wondering if there are any other options.
I'd do it myself but my arms are a bit too short as the location is in front of the passenger side wheel.

if you turn the front wheels full right, you can sit down in the fender well to work on the maf sensor. there is more room if the chassis is jacked up with the leveler jacks. if you do that, use a jack stand to support the chassis just in case.
use the special maf cleaner, not brake cleaner, etc.

Did that a few years ago but had to have my son in law with longer arms button it up. Have a shoulder problem now along with short arms so will have it done.

you probably should replace the air filter at the same time.

AUTO-MOTION
8054 S. STATE STREET
MIDVALE, UTAH
JEREMY
801-561-3601
Went to this place and had the air filter replaced and the MAF sensor cleaned.
That fixed the P0131 and P0151 codes.
Rush Truck Center is the Workhorse Dealer. However they don't work on Workhorse gas engines.
And they didn't have anybody they could send me to for my gas engine.
Camping World suggested I go to Auto-Motion. Thank you Camping World!!!
