When I buy a battery for my motorcycle, they usually just come dry, and uncharged. It is required that you add the battery acid, and then charge them. Do tv batteries come fully charged and sit on a shelf that way?

The ones around here sit on the shelves full and ready to go. I always buy batteries with full warranties as they only cost about $10.00 a piece more +/- and the benefit of the warranty is please to SWMBO.

Bought new battery for DW's car last spring and was not able to maintain a charg this fall. The battery would show 12.5 volts but had only 200 cold cranking amps, got a free one from farm store no problem. A friend told me at his boat shop they send about three battery's back a mo. All near new, something about the way they are making them now!

Newellri I can't remember the full name of the new production process but it begins with C H if I remember correctly.
