I tried to etch glass by letting a pool of it sit on window glass for hours and I think there might have been slight etching. Maybe that Awesome at Dollar Tree isn't full strength. Maybe that's why it's at the dollar stores. It does clean good though; just not as strong as they want you to believe.

You can put any kind of warning label on anything. Who's going to take it back for a buck? Ain't worth the time and gas.

okay I tried the hand sanitizer because I had some in the jeep. It worked well. However, when we returned home I tried to use a different hand sanitizer and it DID NOT work.. Interesting to find out the first one, Rite Aide brand, also contains glycerine, the other brand doesn't. Thanks everyone
