Ordered one today from Amazon for $121 due to a tip from someone on another forum. I think it's a great price and wanted to spread it around.
It got me off my own christmas list.
Any hints on how to best utilize it would be appreciated.

Get on the internet and find the codes to program all 21 different gauges into it and use the oil temp, water temp, voltage and trans temp as your main gauges. Good choice.

I thought you just plug it in and can switch from vehicle to another vehicle. Confused with codes?? Please explain.

BlendMount Custom Radar Detector Mounts Escort Beltronics Valentine One
I ordered on of these mounts for my Scan gauge II I should get it tomorrow according to ups tracking.
You need to scroll down towards the bottom of the web page to find the Scan Gauge mounts.

Some functions have special codes for certain functions. One I know of was Transmission temp on my Ford F-53.
The unit must learn a new application when moved from one vehicle to another. For fuel mileage I know that you have to enter engine size, fuel tank size and other things.
Fairly simple to program when you have the correct codes.

It is plug and play but there are a lot of optional codes to enter into the unit to get full benefit.
If your putting this in a PSD this a great thread with a breakdown of codes to be entered.

From what I picked up on the Scangage site, it works on 1996 and newer MHs. Is that correct? I'd really like to equip my '95 360 Ford with one.

There is a plug under the hood on the drivers side fender.
If the cable is not long enough get a cat-5 cable and adapter to hook the two cables together. Go to the link in my post about the mount they carry all of the stuff you need.
