Screen door and my drawers

Well, I'm getting down to the last of my honey dos and need some ideas.

On the entry screen door there are some plastic swivel lugs that keep the screen in the door. Several of them are broken. Anybody know where a fella could pick up a bag of those?

Secondly, when I'm bumping down the road and make a right turn the kitchen drawers will slide open, sometimes with a BOOM! Scares the $^&% out of the DW. The drawers have a friction fit feature to them but with the weight we've got in them it doesn't prevent the problem. I've tried child proof latches but that hasn't worked, and don't have a good way to attach magnetic latches. Ideas?

We had a similar drawer problem on a previous coach. We placed a strip of industrial grade velcro on the back of the drawer lip under the drawer and on the face of the cabinet. It was out of sight and solved the problem.

You should be able to find the plastic clips at your local hardware store.

For the swivel lugs, check Lowe's in the hardware dept. I can't remember exactly where they are, but there is usually a desk right in hardware, and if you take one of the old ones with you, you can ask at the desk.

While you're there, look for a friction latch for your drawers. The latches are with the drawer pulls and knobs. They are usually used for cupboard doors, but they can be adapted for drawers.

Lowe's had 2 sizes of swivels. It was the "stand-off" portion that was different. The shorter one was too short! The longer one needed a little grinding but "no step for a stepper"
