I've done a few of these articulating mount installs. I attach all mine for travel by installing some hand made "L" shapped brackets into the TV stand mounting holes on the lower back of the TV and adapting a reciever with protruding bolts in the cabinet to fasten these to.

Here is my 32" Sony install. I later changed and installed my "L" shaped brackets
for firm mounting while traveling.

I've done one more recently and I don't think I posted the pictures yet. It was in a 38', '03 Dutch Star DP.

I can take some more pictures of my current setup if you need it. I just use whatever steel or aluminum I can put my hands on where ever I'm at.
