I've uncovered a problem in my '99 Seabreeze that manifests itself only when I'm using generator power (30 amps). Strangely, this is when my coffee maker or microwave/convection oven do not function as individual choices/ not simultaneously - as opposed to using 'shore' power, when all is OK. To the best of my knowledge, all the circuit breakers (that I know of), + GFI's have been checked/ re-set - to no avail!
Anyone have any suggestions on what's malfunctioning?

What goes wrong when you try to run both? Do they simply not operate? Trip a breaker? If breaker, on the genset or your electrial panel? What kind and size genset are you using (3000K?)? More details would be helpful.

In 99 National made a 5th wheel and a motorhome, model name on both was Sea Breeze. Which one?
30 amps? Is that the original generator? If it is a 30 amp generator it must be the 5th wheel.
No transfer switch, just plug the RV into the generator pug, right?
describe your 110v breaker panel

You must have a 50 amp shore power service to the coach and have these appliances on separate legs. When you are using the generator the output is only 120vac and therefore both legs in the distribution panel are now tied together; putting both appliances on the same leg.

It would be highly unusual to have only a 30A (3600 watt) generator on a RV designed with 50A shore power, so I don't think that is it.

Please tell us more about your rig and just what happens when you try to run both appliances.
