After living with a muddy picture on my previous Sharp TV, I replaced it today with a true 1080p LCD flat screen.

The new TV is VASTLY Superior!!! No longer a muddy dark screen. Picked it up for 799.00 (which is a very good price).

A co-worker was looking for a basic flat screen for her Toy Hauler, so I had her look at it and gave it to her for 100.00.

I also added an additional 1080p up converter Philips DVD player which will play Blu-Ray disks.

The new TV required a bit of adjustment in the cabinet as it was a very close.

I also beefed up the mounting bracket and the backing in the cabinet to better handle the weight.

I attached some basic pictures of the completed install.

Looks like it will be a nice upgrade! I'm sure you will like the HD broadcasts, we just purchased a 61" HD for our house and sports and movies are awesome on it! Enjoy!

Gordon, May I ask where you purchased the TV.

You got an excellent price for a model 62U.

Thanks,

Bill
