shopping for roadside assistance

We currently have AAA. The prices have gone up. We pay almost $190/year for the services. I have read many posts saying that coach-net has been very good. Their prices seem to be in line with Good Sam, but have heard negative comments about them. Is one really better than another? I am not unhappy with AAA by any means, but they charge extra for my wife being on the plan. I don't see any reason to pay more for AAA when I can get the same service for $70 less. Comments/Suggestions? Thank you.

Let me be the first of dozens to tell you that yes, there is a difference between Coach Net and everyone else. I think you'll find that CN is by far the most popular and for good reason.

Good luck

Rick

We have had Good Sams for a few years and have used it 3 times. Every experience was very good.

We've had both GS and Coach-Net, but like National Motor Club's Coach-Net the best. You get RV tech support as well as roadside service, and the price is $129.

I second that. AAA would only tow my wifes car to a local garage when she broke down 210 miles from home. They didn't fix Jags. I called Coach Net and they towed her all the way home to a local garage AND gave her a ride to the house. All for Free.....

After reading all of the prior post and the recent replies, we signed up with CN . I talked solitude customer service to get a feel for them and I liked what they had to say. Thank you for all of your comments.
