Hello everyone,
We are new to this forum but I have read a lot of the posts and would like to gather some of that knowledge. We have a 2004 Fleetwood Discovery DP (new to us). As we are attending to the small issues like tightening screws and replacing latches, we noticed that in the shower area, the walls overlap from top to bottom and the top panel is loose at the bottom. Trying to find a tried and true adhesive to correct this issue. Any help/suggestions will be appreciated.

If it is an overlap of top over bottom, sealing it may not be necessary as water would have to travel uphill. Any caulk would provide a barrier. Any adhesive should be compatible for the type of surround material.
I would recommend 100% silicone in shower areas, as a caulk and adhesive.

X2 on the silicone.....Home Depot or Lowes....just make sure it's for showers. Once installed and allowed to dry and it will hold forever. You may want to use a rod or pole to keep pressure on the joint until dry....24hrs

You might want to try this product:

Red Devil 0956 - King Kaulk - White - 9.8 -ounce cartridge at Menards

It comes in black, white, and clear.

It's both a caulk and an adhesive. We used it for the same purpose in the shower on our 2001 Winnebago Adventurer. I was recaulking the seam every 2 years until I found this product. It lasted 5 years and was still holding fine when we traded it off.

Be careful about using a silicone product. Be sure to read your owners manual thoroughly before attempting to use it. Our owners manual said NOT to use silicone because it reacts with the plastic the shower is made out of. I don't know what the end result would have been since I heeded the warning and used a polymer product.

I have a new rv and the bottom of the shower wall is also loose. It is designed that way. The top wall overlaps the lower.

Have a new Forest River Sunseeker and same issue noted on walk through and questioned technician who said, 'leave it alone! it's designed that way, to overlap and be unattached." Too bad, caulk gun was in the toad . . .
