I would not do it. I have them and never use them. The big three section side mirrors are easier to see and easier to use.

If I didn't have them I don't think it would be worth the expense to get them.

We have them on our 2013 Adventurer (Class A) and I really like them. There always seems to be a small blind spot on the passengers side no matter how we adjust the mirrors. The side view camera takes care of that. It shows a straight shot down the side of the coach and several car lengths to the rear. It's great for traffic in the cities. No guess work and no worries about someone sneaking along side you without being seen.

The only issue for me is the leftside camera. My monitor is near the center of my dash. Looking to the right when going left is counter-intuitive and taking my eyes away from the leftside mirrors. When going right its a no brainer. JM2¢...

I never use my side cameras ....... The blind spot on the passenger side can be resolved with this properly positioned on side window

I don't find that I use the side cameras. The image only appears when you put the turn signal on, and there is a lag before the image appears on the screen. I find I can check my mirrors, signal, and change lanes before the image even appears. The mirrors, once properly adjusted, give me a very good view. I definitely use the backup camera when reversing.

I have them and think they are great! Anytime I have my turn signal on it automatically turns on the side camera.

Mine do that too...I ignore the camera and look at the mirror.

We have had them on our last 2 rigs and like them. I use the mirrors as primary and the camera monitor as a double check. I don't think they are a must have, just a nice to have, at least for us.

The mods need to merge this one with the other one(s) that you posted with the same question for you to get all the answers in one spot.

We have a 2014 Coachmen Prism 24G which came with the side cameras integrated in the dash radio/video unit and the turn signals. I really like having them and find myself looking at the dash radio of our other vehicles expecting to see the side video on them as well. My only improvement request I would have is that the back up and side cameras split screen so you can see both of them simultaneously. But having them is very comforting, especially driving around tight city streets.

We have them and I prefer mirrors. Cant teach us old dogs any new tricks.
After four years it still bugs me having the HHR disappear when I use the turn signal.
