Slide goes out, won't go in.

I just purchased a 2013 Coachmen Mirada SE 32BH. Front slide will not come in, goes out fine. I know the dealer is going to fix, but want to learn about system anyway. Fuses good. Reversed leads on switch. Trouble follows back to motor. Switch ok. Is there anything I'm overlooking. Followed what the books say to the point where they tell you to take it in to the shop.

Some coaches require that the engine be off and emergancy brake on to actuate the slide. Is there a key interlock switch? Are the house batteries fully charged or on are you SP? Try while running the generator. Some thoughts. Just my two cents...

Have had the same problem a couple of times. Be sure that your drivers seat is forward. I don't think that applies to all coaches but it sure seems to be a fact on mine. Just a thought.
Good luck and safe travels!
